Blueberry Dessert
I couldn’t find an entry about this. But this past July I made this dessert, inspired from a recipe in Gourmet magazine. They called it “Blueberry Fool.”
It’s still appropriate for late August… early September… the temperature today was about 84 degrees. A nice refreshing dessert would have been ideal.
You combine a mango (or two) in the food processor alongside heavy cream, a little lime juice, and sugar. Later, you spoon fresh blueberries into the thick mixture with lime zest. Chill in glasses, and serve.
Simple, yet delicious. Not my messiest dessert, but still worth the effort. (Doh! It was already featured in the Garlic Dinner. Oh well, new picture.)
